Where are the most thought provoking, inspiring places you've visited?
1. Mountain Peaks.
From trekking through the Himalayas to scaling Mount Fuji, there's nothing quite like reaching the top.
2. Vatican City, Italy.
Regardless of religious beliefs, this small state housing St Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel resounds with splendour and historical wonder. Standing among the faithful in the presence of the pope creates inspiration far above religion.
3. Anzac Cove, Gallipoli
The incredibly moving Anzac Day dawn service attracts thousands of people from Australia and New Zealand each year in memory of soldiers lost.
4. Diving, Great Barrier Reef or almost anywhere!
Nervousness, excitement, awe; with so many emotions to contend with, it's a wonder we can actually function while diving. Joining the magical underwater world for only a short time is prime inspirational fodder.
5. Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
Under the watchful eyes of the creations of masters such as Rembrandt and Vincent van Gogh, it would be hard not to feel a little of their inspiration.
